Fill your home with the warm, cozy scent of winter. This stove top potpourri is a jar of dried citrus, cinnamon sticks and whole spices that you simmer on the stove, a natural, flame-free alternative to candles.
Tied with a ribbon and gift tag, it makes the perfect small thank-you: a hostess gift, teacher gift, stocking stuffer, or a little extra tucked into holiday gift baskets.
What's inside: dried orange, lemons and/or lime slices, dried cranberries, cinnamon sticks and whole spices such as star anise.
How to use:
Pour the jar contents into a small pot and cover with water.
Simmer on low heat to release the fragrance.
Add water as needed, and never leave the pot unattended or let it boil dry.
Alternatively add to a slow cooker with water to avoid the stovetop option.
Can be reused several times. Store in the fridge between uses.
